Thanks to Lynn who has agreed to host the April meetup we can get together again and hopefully meet some new faces and try some other games!! Due to size issues, we will have to limit the number of attendees again.  This event will be alcohol free per the host's request.  Here is a list of games Lynn already has: Taboo Balderdash Catch-Phrase Who? What? Where? Scribblish (I've never played this one) Trivial Pursuit Scrabble Uno Feel free to bring additional games if you'd like.  Light fare/snack foods will be served. If you'd like to contribute to the snacks, that would be great, just specify that when you RSVP.

Ticket to Ride. We were talking about this game. I looked it up and found it. We didn't play it, but someone (or two) had heard of it or played it and wanted to know the name, so here it is.

Had a family emergency come up, letting this spot open up in case someone can attend on short notice.

Is anyone bringing Settlers of Catan? I think I left mine at work, but I do have the 5-6 player expansion that I can bring if we plan on playing.

I'll also have Cards Against Humanity in case of emergency, I'll leave that up to everyone else whether that gets played. :P

OK, then, I will bring Apples to Apples. Also, I put a little rubber cement on the bottoms of some glass beads, so I think that Pente sliders won't be an issue now if anyone wants me to bring it.

Is there a current list of games anyone wants? I have Othello, Apples to Apples, Backgammon, Battleship, Cribbage, Mancala (if anyone remembers the rules), Pente (board, not mat, so stones slip around), Foodie Fight, and Taboo (older version that isn't as challenging as more recent version).

Not going to make it to this one but wanted to get input from others in the group. We are going out to dinner with another couple that into rather light games and then playing games at our house afterwards. I watched and read reviews of libertalia and it looks fun. Has anyone played it and is so do you think it would be a good introductory game for a couple that isn't into heavy strategy games?

Great news for the waiting list! My Saturday lunch plans have just morphed into a slumber party for my 2 sisters who are celebrating birthdays. I hate to miss Game Night, but family birthdays have to trump. Have a great time!!

I love trivia games, word games, anything that makes you think--the kind you would play at the Marbles Brain Store but I;m open to anything right now--even Operation or Checkers would be more fun than playing online games..

Not good with word games. I have bezzerwizzer (trivia game that can played on teams or single or both if you feel lucky), monopoly and forbidden island (2-4 player coop survival game)

I'm not sure which game (s) to bring. I'll get a better sense of what would be best after our March gathering :-)
