Munchkin Night

Kill the monsters, steal the treasure, stab your buddy…that is the essence of Munchkin, a hilarious and irreverent look at the pen and paper D&D games of yesteryear. Munchkin allows for many players to crawl through a dungeon, fight monsters, collect valuable loot, and socialize with your friends without all that pesky roleplaying stuff. It’s easy to play, and you don’t even have to be familiar with the old D&D style classes/abilities. Through your adventure, you’ll fight powerful monsters like the Shrieking Geek and Auntie Paladin. You’ll collect incredible treasures like the Horny Helmet and the Boots of Butt Kicking. You’ll find out who your true friends are…and they are probably not sitting with you at the table! So join me and let’s get started on our adventure; you don’t need any experience to play!

Logistical stuff: due to space restrictions I will only be able to host about 8 or 9 folks. Please plan to bring a dish or snack for others to share. I will have stuff on hand but the cost adds up quickly since I host frequently. Also, this is a BYOB event. I will e-mail my phone number and address to all who have RSVP’d a few days before the event, so please be considerate of others and update your info as soon as you think you might not be able to attend.

Here is the official website containing the rules, history, and other info.

This is a demonstration of the game, as played on Wil Wheaton's show, "Table Top."

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
