Hi everybody. My name is Brad Dudenhoffer and I am currently working as a research chemist. I love to build just about anything and solve problems.
I am currently working as a research chemist. I have experience designing, constructing, and piloting radio controlled aircraft, cars, boats, and submarines. I like to build recumbent bicycles when I have any spare time. I am proficient with most woodworking and welding tools. I have some experience with fiberglass repair from fixing up our old canoe. I recently finished building a MendelMax type RepRap 3D printer. I have completed a few Arduino-based projects focusing on scientific instrument design and testing. One of which was my capstone research project and involved using a Nd-YAG rangefinder laser out of a M1 tank and a hacked Canon digital camera for a low-cost laser ablation spectroscopy system. I also dabble in photography including repairing old cameras and developing my own film.

I am especially interested in learning more about 3D extrusion printing but would love to share my experiences or lend a hand on any other projects as well.
