We will be holding a 6-week Introduction to Insight Meditation course starting Tuesday, February 18. The classes will run each Tuesday from 6:30 to 7:20 p.m. (before the ongoing class). Each class stands alone, so it is acceptable to attend one class or all of them (though it is helpful to attend as many as possible, since there is some overlap).
The course content includes:
5/6 Introduction to Meditation and Mindfulness of the Body
5/20 Mindfulness of Thoughts and Mindfulness of Emotions
5/27 The First and Second Noble Truths - Mindfulness of Suffering, Grasping and Aversion
6/3 The RAIN process - Using Mindfulness and Wisdom to bring healing and freedom
6/10 Right View - Three Ways of Viewing Reality to aid in healing and in cultivating joy and freedom
