Columbia Raw Food Feasters November, 2012 Potluck

Let the holiday season begin! This is the annual meeting where it's good to try out a new fall recipe that you can repeat at Thanksgiving. My recommendation-- make something you'd LIKE to eat (aka RAW) at the big familly dinner, not something else that you'll have to "settle for." There are lots of great raw sweet potato casserole and pie recipes, delicious raw cranberry sauce dishes, tantalizing apple dishes,  and a host of other things that you and all those you're sharing Thanksgiving with will love. Get a head start! Bring something to the potluck for us to try with you, and we'll all have new ideas to make our holiday dining more delicious, more healthy!

I always feel a health-infused boost as I walk out the door of the Raw Food Feasters potluck. This meeting was no exception. Seems like everyone really pulled out all the stops to make their dish special. I appreciate all the thought, time and energy that goes into all the food. Sharing all this positive energy is the best part.

Lots of great people and the food was phenomenal tonight. Many different varieties of foods of all the colors of the rainbow. Such a warm and joyful atmosphere, and educational, too.

As usual, we had a great time. Really fabulous food this month, including some very delicious seasonal desserts--carrot pulp cupcakes with cream cheese frosting, pumpking cheesecake, and a delicious berry crisp! We ate very well!

The announcement goes to fb once or twice a month. If you're interested, I have a page on fb called Abundant Raw Life. Go there and like it! Meanwhile, I hope you can attend the potluck this Sunday!
