I enjoy reading. I write science fiction and satire.

What genre do you write? This is primarily a group for adults writing young adult or children's genres, so will you be able to contribute to this?

I primarily write science fiction and satire. Some of my writing is appropriate for younger audiences. Most of the characters I write about are fairly young. I am not entirely familiar with the current YA market and what's popular.

What length pieces do you write? Short stories, novels, poems, etc?

I mainly write short stories.

Have you been published? If not, how serious are you about getting published?

I have been published (Sort of - it was in an online magazine). I'm fairly serious.

Have you ever been part of a critique group before? If so, how was your experience?

I have not.

Why do you write?

I know my tastes better than anyone, so by writing I can create stories I like.
