Introduction

My first completed manuscript, RED SHOES & A DIARY hit bookshelves in 2003 to excellent reviews. It was followed by three more Harlequin novels, a novella and a romantic mystery. In 2010, I invented the Writing Blocks Idea Dice™.

What genre do you write? This is primarily a group for adults writing young adult or children's genres, so will you be able to contribute to this?

I've written six romance novels for Harlequin. My work-in-progress is a YA novel.

What length pieces do you write? Short stories, novels, poems, etc?

I've written one novella and five novels.

Have you been published? If not, how serious are you about getting published?

Yes, 2003 through 2007.

Have you ever been part of a critique group before? If so, how was your experience?

Yes, one before I was published which was a group of seven writers and another after publication with two other writers. I have one critique partner that I have been working with for the past dozen years.

Why do you write?

Because I can't paint or sculpt, I only sing in the shower or the car and so the only way I can express my ideas is through the written word.
