Introduction

Hi! I'm a freelance writer/artist who moved to Columbia just a short time ago. I'm very introverted, but I plan to fix that by joining this writers group.

What genre do you write? This is primarily a group for adults writing young adult or children's genres, so will you be able to contribute to this?

I write a little bit of everything, but as of right now I seem to be stuck on YA Science-Fiction, concentrating on Post-Apocalyptic scenarios.

What length pieces do you write? Short stories, novels, poems, etc?

Mostly short stories and some poems, but attempting to write my first full-length novel.

Have you been published? If not, how serious are you about getting published?

Unfortunately not, but it's my number one focus to be published or in the process of being published by the time I'm 21. So I'm pretty serious about it.

Have you ever been part of a critique group before? If so, how was your experience?

I haven't, I don't really leave my house..

Why do you write?

Because I can't help it. It's like a compulsion.
