What genre do you write? This is primarily a group for adults writing young adult or children's genres, so will you be able to contribute to this?
I primarily write adult fiction, but as of recently am focusing on writing for middle school students.
What length pieces do you write? Short stories, novels, poems, etc?
Novels and short stories.
Have you been published? If not, how serious are you about getting published?
Yes.
Have you ever been part of a critique group before? If so, how was your experience?
Yes -- only once before, in college. It was a fantastic experience. I still remember many of my peers' written pieces.
Why do you write?
I'm a neurotic Jew from New York. Writing keeps me sane.

Hi Sarah. Just found and joined this group seeking not help with writing, but to talk and discuss the craft, share experiences with other writers. I just checked out zoozil and I LOVE the picture. That is the kind of thing that intrigues me -for lack of a better way to put it, because, I think, I remain very much a child at heart, deep down inside.
