Yes I agree, I do not age should be a factor.

Hi Ladies,

I believe that would be a sincere loss for the group.  There is something to be learned from everyone and it would be a definite shame to miss out on the varying opinions because of age.  Respect for age is something that everyone should have and it cannot be gained here if we split.
Give it a shot before you decide to depart.  See if there might not be some common ground.  I live farther away so it may take the right place/time for me to make it to a meeting, but surely I am not the only person who feels this way.

Thanks!
Kel :o)

Muriel,
I don't know your age, but I just turned 60 and have trying to get to a
meeting, but something has always prevented me from it. The latest is my
father's illness and passing. If you want to start a group of
"older" women we can do that if you'd like to. Just send me your
feelings about this and maybe we can talk and see if we want to break off into
an older ladies' club. I'd probably feel uncomfortable with the group of
those younger women myself. We just don't have the same things in common as
those young ladies, do we? LOL

her name handy, but hopefully you do. It's kind of an odd mix for me, in
that the rest of the group is late 20's-early 30's and I am WAY much
older. I just want to be sure I am connecting with them.
