In the summer, sit in the shade and savor roast chicken and spicy sausages, enjoy dancing and singing with the fiddler, test your water color and writing skills with Mr. Andrews at the Stationer. Muster with the militia and re-outfit your home in furniture from the Cabinet Maker. Only at Market Fair can you catch up on the latest news from the frontier, and trade stories with while enjoying local ale and porter at the Tavern. Try hands-on crafts such as spinning and dyeing, and shop for goods from the finest merchants in the colonies.

Claude Moore Colonial Farm: Something’s always being grown, harvested, dyed, dried, or crafted at Claude Moore Colonial Farm in McLean, Virginia, a rendition of a modest circa-1771 frontier farm." Held on the third full weekend of May, July, and October, the 18th Century Colonial Market Fair is a favorite among regular and first-time visitors alike. Visitors come from across the country and around the globe to sample the foods and merchandise of the Market Fair.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
