Join us for a Potluck lunch and Santa Hat knitting!

Sophia's Stockings has asked Columbia Sip and Knit for assistance. They have asked if our group could donate handmade preemie and newborn Santa hats. They are in need of about 45 newborn and preemie hats, and will be hand delivering their stockings (including the hats) to each NICU patient room at John's Hopkins Children Hospital.

Please join us!

When: Sunday, December 15th

Where: Alta at Regency Crest, The Club House

Time: noon - 4 pm

Please bring a lunch dish to share! Tell us what you are bringing when you RSVP :)

Oh, yarn, patterns and pom pom makers will be provided! Yarn will be worsted weight so please bring knitting needles or crochet hooks for worsted weight yarn :) You are also welcome to bring your own red and white yarns to knit with or to share!!

Hats can also be made ahead of time and brought to the event!

Special Guest appearance: Baby Sophia herself might be stopping by to say hello!

I have a prior commitment on the 15th and won't be able to join with you. I do have a couple of hats made and I'm wondering if anyone of you will be at the Friday afternoon sip and knit. I could drop off the hats then. Pat

Another possibility. I expect to be back in Columbia by 4 on Sunday. Would that be too late to drop by the club house with my hats?
