I think these are all sort of in the same general area. I like Delhi and Punjabi, but haven't tried Bombay yet, though I've heard good things re their veg offerings. Weigh in if you have a preference.

Welcome! Columbia Veg is a South Carolina (Midlands area) community group for vegans, vegetarians, and those exploring a plant-based lifestyle for ethical, environmental, spiritual and/or health reasons.
You do not need to be vegan or vegetarian to join, you and your guests just need to eat vegan/vegetarian at events. Our potlucks are vegan so everyone can eat everything.
(A vegan eats no animal-derived ingredients, including meat, seafood, dairy, eggs and honey; a vegetarian eats no meat or seafood but does eat eggs and dairy products).
Our events can include dinners at local veg-friendly restaurants, potlucks, raw food events, vegan outreach/tabling, local farm tours, hikes, movie or documentary nights, veg-themed book club meetings and other ideas members come up with.
If you have an idea for an event or would like to host a gathering, please email an organizer!
Because the purpose of our group is to hang out with each other in person, everyone is encouraged to use their first name as their profile name and to post a photo.
Dues are $1 per meetup attended, or $5 per year. This goes toward the fee Meetup charges to maintain the website ($150/year).
**For discussions and questions be sure to join our Facebook group and add any of your friends who would be interested:www.facebook.com/groups/columbiaveg.**
If you are interested in helping animals please join our sister group, the SC Animal Advocacy League as well.
We know you're out there, introduce yourself!
VegFund has provided us with grants for food samples and doc showings.
