Claw foot bathtubs, antique chandeliers, stained glass windows, cast iron Godin stoves, and more. The Columbus Architectural Salvage recycles old house parts & vintage building materials. Their warehouse is filled with amazing photographic opportunities and we get the place all to ourselves!

Website: http://www.columbusarchitecturalsalvage.com/

Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/ColumbusArchitecturalSalvage

Itinerary:

10:00a - 12:00p  Photo-walk inside the Columbus Architectural Salvage

DISCLAIMER: As long as you are respectful of the venue and their products, tripods will be permitted. If you break or damage something, you are responsible for the repair or replacement costs.

Venue rental fee:

I've included a $10.00 fee for renting this venue. This amount covers the cost of renting the space outside of their normal business hours, split between 10 people.

Parking:

They have a small parking lot and there is street parking on Clara St.

Sharing your photographs:

The Columbus Architectural Salvage would love to share some of the images you make with their customers and Facebook fans. If you would like to share some of your images with them, feel free to email them to: [masked] They will give you photo credit and they promise not to use your images for commercial use without your permission.

Tips for success:

• Bring a tripod  (just in case)

• Look closely for unique textures, colors, and details

• Come with ideas

I'm looking forward to making photographs with you! Please let me know if you have any questions.

Ua

Note: This is not an instructional photo-walk. Our goal is to make photographs together, not to teach photography. Questions are fine and learning from one another is important, lets just make sure we direct our focus on making images.

I should say that I don't rubber stamp ratings so when I say it was a five I'm speaking from the heart. These events always inspire me and the opportunity to meet others pursuing their own artistic vision is fantastic.

Unfortunately all of the spots are already filled. I will talk to the owner and see if we can set up an additional date in the future.
