Another last minute meetup - I'm beginning to set a precedence on these. ;o)
Let's escape this blasted cold winter weather that refuses to release its grip and spend a few hours indoors for some social time WITHOUT having a camera in our grasp - oh my(!), what do we do with our hands??
A few of us will be going to watch The Secret Life of Walter Mitty movie which has been recommended by several people as not only a good movie, but one enjoyable for photographers. Since I'm the trusting sort, that's enough for me - I have no idea what the movie is about. ;o)
You can go here to read about it if you'd like.
The Cinemark is a "buck-seventy-five" theatre so the ticket price is definitely right - more money left over for camera gear!
I've never been there but have told you buy your tickets outside the venue and than go inside to a lobby area. We will meet in the lobby area to the left of the entrance doors prior to giving our ticket to the usher.
If someone would confirm via a comment that this is the way the theatre is laid out, I'd appreciate it.
We will meet at 2 PM for the 2:20 showing. Please be on time so we can allow for a quick mingle and refreshments before heading into the theatre to meet Mr. Mitty. The movie should be over shortly after 4 so we can spend a few minutes discussing the movie, if desired, prior to 5 PM.
Mmmmm, not much else to say - it's a movie folks. We've probably been to a few in our time and understand the mechanics of going to one. ;o)
So let's get together in a more social environment, dream about warmer weather, and spend a couple hours being entertained on the cheap. Whaddya say?
Hope to see you there. Any questions please leave a comment and I will respond promptly.
