Introduction
I'm currently stationed at Ft Benning and looking for some people who share my passion for the outdoors and adventure. I'm missing the mountains and the ocean, but trying to find some cool stuff to do in this part of the world.
What are your favorite outdoor activities?
climbing, mountain biking, backpacking, hunting, fishing
Where is the coolest place you've been?
On some ridgline in the Weminuche Wilderness in Southern Colorado. The sun was coming up after hiking all night and the reflections on the snow turned the entire world an amazing red color. It felt like I was on Mars. I guess it was more of a cool experience than a cool place.
What's the most adventurous thing you've done?
Probably some sketchy climbing in the Alps.
Where is your favorite getaway spot?
Mauna Kea - the highest mountain on the island I'm from in Hawaii. I don't get back often, but I always make a trip up there when I do.
