Alberto Vargas (9 February 1896 – 30 December 1982) was a noted Peruvian painter of pin-up girls. He is often considered one of the most famous of the pin-up artists. Numerous Vargas paintings have sold and continue to sell for hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Vargas painted and airbrushed regular contributions to Esquire magazine and later Playboy, having met Hugh Hefner when they both worked for Esquire. Many of Vargas' creations adorned the noses of WWII aircraft.
We are going to shoot in the Vargas Style, and challenge the photographers to produce magazine worthy images of our beautiful model, Bekah.
Here is a shot of Bekah from an earlier (non Vargas) shoot.
