Day 2 of the Columbus Jazz and Ribs Festival coincides with the Columbus Symphony's Picnic with the Pops series downtown at Columbus Commons. We will meet at the Jazz and Ribs festival for dinner and then go over to Columbus Commons for the Pop's concert with the Columbus Symphony.
Picnic with the Pops is a chance to see some of today's most popular entertainers performing with the Columbus Symphony Orchestra at an amazing price. The casual outdoor evening performances are a great opportunity to gather with friends, family, and co-workers. So pack your picnic basket to share and enjoy a fun and memorable experience at the Columbus Commons.
The guest musicians are the group, "The Music of Queen" which plays tribute to Freddie Mercury and Queen. Featuring a full rock band, stars from London’s West End smash hit musical We Will Rock You, and your Columbus Symphony, The Music of Queen – A Rock and Symphonic Spectacular brings you epic arrangements of the music of British supergroup Queen, including “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “Radio Ga Ga,” “We Are the Champions,” “Somebody to Love,” “Who Wants to Live Forever,” “Killer Queen,” “Don’t Stop Me Now,” “Fat-Bottomed Girls,” “I Want It All,” and many more.
The Jazz and Rib Fest is free and lawn tickets for the Picnic with the Pops are $30 including service fees. You may wish to park at the City Center garage as its adjacent to Columbus Commons making it easy to get to after the show.
