Lol I am glad it did not get any colder that was pretty much my limit with no jacket. I am glad I do not get cold as easy as some of you though:). Good advise on never trusting the weather they sure missed it yesterday. Enjoyed riding with you again have a good week.

Thank you for bearing with me today guys. Seems they the gas kit of my bike was blown away. And good news. I upgraded my bike. Got a Kawasaki Vulcan 500. This one can easily go 70 mph. Looking forward to the next plan!!!

It was awesome, although a little cool, riding with everyone today (damn weathermen). Looking forward to our next get together. I do enjoy meeting new people and sharing a good road together.

There is a request for a Hocking Hills Tour - Part 3. Is anyone interested in another ride in 2 weeks? We would catch the colors just past peak but it would still probably be a good ride.

Thanks for setting up the ride Brian..was a great 277 miles (including commute to/from meet up spot. I just now made it home. (I didn't exactly come straight home) I might have stayed in Columbus for a while, and then I might have been busy playing with a M3 that thought he could pass me on the freeway. Glad to see all you guys again, and I enjoyed myself again. Thanks for the fun! I'd also like to say Thanks to June, as she made the ride more interesting for me. I love giving rides to people! She wanted a ride, my best friend cancelled, so i guess it was meant to be. Cold, and hurting, but she never once complained, or said anything negative. (and she never screamed, yelled, or hit me, so That is always a plus!) She is a great passenger, and person. I'm glad I got to meet her.

11 hours to the meet up. Starting at the same Kroger's as last week. Riding a different route this time. Bring some cash for lunch at Jimbo's restaurant (no plastic accepted). Weather is supposed to be awesome!

  • Ken P.

So, we're meeting at the same locationas last weeK?

    October 11, 2013

Will try to make it, looks like fun.....!!!!

    October 11, 2013

OK, it is my understanding that Jimbo's is a great place to eat and they prefer biker's. However, it seems that they are a cash only establishment so throw $20 in your pocket for this ride to cover your lunch.

Hocking Hills, and that whole area in general, has always been one of my favorite places to ride in all of Ohio. (56 is my favorite scenic rd there, and has actually been used by Ford as a test route)
In no specific order, here are some other good roads for a future ride down there.
    RT 93
    RT 180
    RT 374
    RT 664
    Big Pine Rd

Jimbo's is a really great place to eat, reasonable prices, great food, and is a really big place. It often is rated as one of the best places to eat. (we passed it last week) If you go at "normal" lunch hours, it is often packed, as it is so big, it accommodates large groups, which means there can be a sizable wait. The Only problem is it always makes me nervous when I eat there, simply because of the Bar part, as I always shy away from any riders that may be impaired. So, my suggestion is whenever we leave there, let's do our best to make sure we aren't immediately behind, or directly in front of anyone that's leaving.

    October 9, 2013

    • Brian B

      Great suggestion!

      October 9, 2013

  • Travis S.

Unless I get called into work (unlikely), then I am there. Haven't had the opportunity to be on a CMR ride yet this year, so I'm looking forward to it.

    October 9, 2013

Looks like I'm in for Sat as well! Jim Bo's is great place to eat! The last time I ate there is was cash only as well.

Lunch will be at JimBo's Restaurant on St Rt 56 East of Circleville. Reviews are good and they cater to the "biker" crowd! http://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_Review-g50984-d1098848-Reviews-Jimbo_s_Bar_Diner-South_Bloomingville_Ohio.html

    October 6, 2013

    • Andy

Jimbo's use to be cash only. Might want to see if this is still the case.

      October 6, 2013

    • Brian B

Thanks Andy, I'll call them today.

      October 7, 2013

Long range weather forecast for next Saturday is mostly sunny and 74 degrees.

Looking forward to hittin the road and taking in the scenery with the group!

    October 6, 2013

  • Andy

Man I wish I could go. Attending another ride next Saturday. Have fun and be carefull.

    October 5, 2013

  • Ben

I Should be able to make it....but like always..due to unpredictable health, I won't officially know until that morning. Kinda sucks not being able to plan ahead, but living spur of the moment, does have it's benefits too!

Hope to see you all there again
