I was unable to make it unfortunately. I have gone to several of these workshops in the past. Al and Niya are two of the best dance teachers and come all the way from Atlanta to do these workshops. Instead of bashing them on this public forum, you should get over yourselves and realize that you probably don't have any rhythm and just have fun. I don't know why people are so rude to say mean things about people on these public forums. Get a life!

Cintia, it sounds to me like there was a communication issue between you and the studio. Intermediate is a second level, everywhere in life. I tried to express that prior to that class as well. You did great in beginner class. The intermediate class is meant to challenge dancers that have been training for awhile. Salsa is progressive. This thread has gone on far too long, so this will be my last comment. Again, the lapse in communication was not our error, but I am sorry about it nonetheless.

And Al I can appreciate that. Once again I respect you and Niyah and everything you two do. I was actually very excited to take your classes and yes I guess this was just communication error. I wish you two the best and would like to take your classes again in the future. I just know now for future reference to take the beginner class a few more times before attempting to tackle the intermediate. God bless you both.

I think it's absolutely crazy that I'm being attacked for giving my OPINION. Let's grow up people. I'm not trying to bash anyone. I simply stated how I felt about the class. I don't speak for everyone so I don't understand why everyone is taking what I say so personally.

Um no honey I paid for both. 25 each was paid for myself and my husband. If that's the case, someone owes me $20.

I took the beginner and intermediate salsa. The first class was great. I feel like I actually learned the steps. The second class I would not recommend to anyone actually wanting to LEARN the steps. The class went from 0 to 60 immediately. I kind of felt like the instruction at the beginning was like "I don't care if you don't have it, I'm not slowing down". So great first class, second class not so much.

Al it was not stated during class that "the beginner class needs to be taken more than once before taking the intermediate." you gave a "disclaimer" in a joking way that Niya was "going to kill us". This does not build good rapport with your CUSTOMER. It should have been stated before any money was paid that you would not be able to really take advantage of intermediate class if you've only taken one beginner class. I was left feeling like I paid for a "Let me show you what I can do that I'm not really going to teach you how to do" session.

Cintia, cheryl who was at the front desk told me you did not pay for the intermediate class anyway. You simply paid for the beginner class and bachata.
