I (Eriyah Flynn) will be doing the question and answer segment after the film. I'm hoping I will have a chance to see the film elsewhere first so I have some idea of the kinds of questions I'll be likely to field. I'm quite excited to see a film like this has been done since we have been wondering about the omission of the vegan connection in the environmental and climate change movement's list of empowerment strategies for so long at this point...

Here is an appeal that was made to Bill McKibben of 350.org that some of you may find of interest.

The film was great and it was more than refreshing to see so many people out. Many thanks to the event sponsors.

Thanks, Lori! I just called and got one.
Lee, they still have 2 tickets left and maybe 3. I spoke with Judy and she was really nice. The Nbr is[masked]-159. Good luck!

We were able to get a larger theatre, so tickets are still available, and will be until the 19th, 4 hrs before the event, or until we sell out. At this point, we have about twenty seats left. http://www.tugg.com/events/10370

Nature's Path Market is having a contest to win free Cowspiracy tickets. Like their Facebook page (or if you already like the page, comment on their post). A total of 5 tickets will be drawn and winners will be announced on Aug 16th at 12pm. https://www.facebook.com/naturespathmarket/posts/1512945655590238

Folks, there are only 15 tickets remaining, and must be purchased by Saturday. Without that support, this film will not be shown in Columbus. It's selling out in most cities. It would be awful if we can't even show it here. There is a critical conversation taking place in this film, can you be an omnivore and call yourself an environmentalist? Cowspiracy clearly says no. We are making choices now, vegan choices, that our environment will be dictating in the future, according to scientists in Cowspiracy. We can't support a meat eating society. A friend asked me, where is the vegan community and why aren't they supporting this film and this dialogue? Anybody care to answer that? 1,000 members of the Columbus Vegan meet-up community, Eriyah beginning that dialogue afterward, and only 9 members showing to offer that support? Anyone care to answer that question?

I reserved my ticket! We need 38 more ticket purchases by August 9th. If 95 tickets are not sold by August 9th, the film will not be screened. Portia's is offering a free slice of vegan cheezecake to anyone who buys a Cowspiracy ticket before August 9th! https://www.facebook.com/PortiasCafe/posts/915436388482940

I purchased the digital download of this. It is awesome! Hoping to get to see it on the big screen with a sold out show!
