Cowspiracy, Continuing the Discussion

I was so inspired and excited by the Cowspiracy screening, that I'd like to continue the conversation that was stimulated from the movie. I'd love to hear your thoughts on the film, what you learned and also to discuss effective strategies on sharing this information with others in order to effect the change that our planet so desperately needs.

If you were unable to make the screening, we'd love to fill you in on what you missed as well :)

I hope that by discussing these ideas together we will be empowered to go out into the world and engage others to consider the impact the agricultural industry has on the environment and inspire them to care for this planet through what they choose to put on their plate.

Please note that Portia's Cafe closes at 3pm on Sundays, so if you would like food/refreshments come early :) Thanks to Portia for letting us use her cafe space, thanks to Lori Jones for promoting the Cowspiracy screening, and thanks to Eriyah for the engaging Q&A session after the film.

Hope to see you Sunday afternoon!

Did you get a good crowd at the discussion? I had my sister come in town from AZ, and hadn't seen her in five years. Unfortunately, couldn't make it.

Thanks to everyone for the great discussion today. I left with a lot of hope and optimism about what we as individuals can accomplish when we approach the engagement issue with compassion and love. Hope to see everyone again soon!

I agree the documentary has lots of potential. If only we could get "environmentalists" to watch it! I'm not sure I can make it Sunday so don't want to confirm. I do plan on future action with the doc, so am glad you are interested enough to host this followup
