April Meetup: "Veggie Bites" at Till Dynamic Fare

For our April Vegetarian Group event, we’ll make our first-ever visit to TILL DYNAMIC FARE! Till is a "biodynamic-inspired restaurant" owned by former Dragonfly owners, Cristin & Magdiale. The menu at Till has taken some of the essence of Dragonfly and includes an array of delicious vegetarian and vegan meals in a warm casual environment.


Till is proud to host the Vegetarian Meet-up Group and has arranged a mid-day social called "Veggie Bites" with small plates ranging from $5 to $8 to go along with a selection of juices, coffees, wine, beer and craft cocktails!  This will be a great way to try a variety of foods while providing an opportunity to mix and mingle with fellow Vegetarian Group members! The event is a la carte and we'll plan to get-together from 3-5pm in the bar and dining room at Till.


Till's menu changes and is inspired by the seasons, its urban vegetable garden, biodynamic and local product availability, and the whims of the chef.  Sample ideas of the current Veggie Bites menu (which is offered every Monday at Till) contains simple rustic chef driven items, such as portabella poutine, sherried green beans in puff pastry, roasted brussel sprouts & bleu cheese, and more!  Till will also be offering its current menu which has veggie friendly dishes such as an in house made veggie burger, shiitake & tallegio pizza, vegan"mac n cheese", pistachio tofu with farro curry, and hearty chili and corn bread.       Thanks, Gail! I used the ginger trick too much in the first few weeks & now I associate it with the nausea. Sigh! I think I'm nearly out of the woods, though (I hope), as I'll be 17 weeks tomorrow & it seems the nausea bouts are getting less frequent. Hope to meet you soon!

    That was a nice event! Very well organized. Nice friendly staff. Nice friendly members. The music was a bit loud and difficult to hear and speak over. I parked close by on King, and walked to the Till quite nicely. I would have enjoyed meeting more of the group even though my table mates and I had great conversation!
