Looks like we’ll have a full house for this weekend’s Vegetarian Group Meetup event at MAZAH! Located in Grandview Heights, Mazah Mediterranean Eatery is locally-owned, very veg-friendly, and really delicious! For those on the Waiting List – thanks for signing up! Spaces will often will often open up at the last minute, so be sure to check back later this week. For those who are signed up for this event – I’m looking forward to seeing you there! As a reminder, if you find that your plans change, PLEASE be sure to update your RSVP as soon as possible so that others may attend.
Maggie (the owner) has reserved practically the entire restaurant for our group and will be making a batch of her fabulous vegan baklava for our visit! Please plan to arrive between 11:15 and 11:25 on Saturday, March 3rd. We’ll order around 11:30 then enjoy a delicious lunch and a fun time together! For complete details or to update your RSVP, please click the link below. Look forward to seeing you there.
P.S. The April event is being finalized now and will be announced later this week! Until then, I just added a non-Meetup event to the calendar for this Thursday, March 1st. Michael Jones, Executive Director of Local Matters, will speak on “Vegetarianism and Sustainable Eating” at the Bexley Community Book Club Meeting on Thursday, March 1st at 7pm at the Bexley Public Library. (Thanks to Carol for providing this info!)
