This is a reminder that our Vegetarian Group event at BANANA LEAF will be this Sunday, April 13th! Here are complete details for this event:

 

RSVP Information:

  • If you are on the RSVP List: Should be a great event! I look forward to seeing you there! As a reminder, if you find that you will be unable to attend please be sure to update your RSVP by this Friday! This will ensure the restaurant (which is going out of their way to put together a fantastic event for the group) has an accurate count and will give those on the waiting list an opportunity to attend.
  • If you are on the Waiting List: Stay tuned! Spaces almost always open up the week before the event!

 

Arrival Time:

  • Cooking Class: If you would like to attend the optional cooking class, arrive between 12:15 and 12:25pm. The cooking demo will start at 12:30 and will conclude just in time for you to head into the event!
  • Grand Buffet: Arrive between 12:45 and 12:55pm and we’ll get started promptly at 1:00pm.

 

Event Details:

  • The buffet will feature a variety of appetizers, entrees, desserts and drinks for one low price!
  • Whether you are new to Indian cuisine or already a fan, it should be a great opportunity to try out a variety of great dishes for one low price!
  • Buffet will be all vegetarian, all vegan and all gluten-free; price is $13.99 for adults, $8.99 for kids over 5 and free for children age 5 and under.

Learn simple techniques that turn inexpensive ingredients like legumes, tofu, organic vegetables, and gluten-free grains into simply amazing meals that are good for you and great for your wallet. Stratford Cooking Club for Kids on Saturday, April 12th

Chef Mark will be conducting the Stratford Cooking Club for Kids at the Stratford Ecological Center on Saturday, April 12th. Bring your child age 6 to 12 for a visit to the farm to learn how food is grown, plus a cooking lesson designed for young chefs. They’ll make a connection between how food gets from field to plate, and your child will prepare and enjoy a healthy snack made with seasonal ingredients from the farm. Vegan Baking for Good Mornings on Sunday, April 13th

Barre Food and Bordeaux on Wednesday, April 16th

Chef Mark is teaming up with some local friends for an event you are sure to love at the barre3 Studio in Powell. Start off at 6:00PM with a great barre3 workout class, followed by a cooking demonstration and sampling with The Duke of Fork. Now add in wine tasting with the great folks (and wine!) from the Powell Village Winery and you have a great evening of Barre, Food, and Bordeaux.
