What is your preference for a possible Pot-Luck in April?

Following the slightly-spendy but deliciously-delicious meet-up at Dragonfly in March, I thought we’d try an equally-fun-and-delicious (but slightly-less-expensive) potluck in April. My thought is we’ll continue to try new and familiar favorite restaurants most months and will work in a spring pot-luck, along with our regular Summer Picnic and Thanksgiving events. The date I’m looking at is Saturday, April 4th. I checked into several locations and the least expensive option is the UU Church near the Short North. There, we can have a room and all the trimmings (tables, chairs, etc.) for thirty bucks (or a mere $1/per person for a group of 30). But, I ‘d like to get your opinion first. What do you think? Do you have any other ideas? Please fill out the survey below and let me know what you think! Thanks in advance for the input! (As a reminder, the poll is completely anonymous.)

Chili Pot-Luck or Thanksgiving Get-Together anyone?

The June pot-luck hosted by Scott & Angie and the 1st Annual Summer Picnic in July were a blast! Lots of great food & time together. In Sep, we'll hit Veggie Group favorite, Benevolence. As we move into the Fall, we'll continue to support the local vegetarian restaurants. In addition, I'm thinking perhaps we can try another pot-luck-style event or two? Two possible ideas for pot-lucks this fall are a Veggie Chili Feast or a Vegetarian Thanksgiving Dinner. I don't know about you, but with cool weather ahead, I'm looking forward to a big bowl of vegan chili. With about a million recipies and all of great cooks amongst us, I'm thinking we could do this up right. Or, in November, we could get together for a Traditional (Vegetarian-style) Thanksgiving get together. Or, if we're feelin' like REALLY living on the edge...both? Take the poll below to let me know what you think. If you have comments, suggestions, or would like to volunteer to host an event, let me know.

After the Friday night hike through German Village with the Sierra Club, we'd like to meet for dinner. Please select your preference(s).
