I apologize to everyone who signed up for this meetup but I am canceling this meetup because I cannot get hold of Katy Katfish to make reservations. We will be coming from Eureka Springs, AR and hate to drive several hundred miles without reservations.

    Sorry again:-(

Has anyone made reservations at Katfish Katy's? I cannot get hold of them at all. Two times I spoke to a lady she told me to call back during the day then I call back no one is answering the phone and she does not return calls.

Jan. I recently purchased a 2 person kayak . May not have to rent canoe ! You just need to borrow a paddle. Ok?

Linda, Sounds great! I've got my own paddle and PDF so I'm set. Thanks for the offer.

I tried to reserve a canoe / yak but can't find anything available on their reservation site. Is the group floating just the 22nd, and not starting until after 1 pm ?

    February 22, 2014

    • Sue M.

The canoe day is 21st, Saturday which is only day they offer!

Since this will be my 1st activity with this group, I have a few questions. Will the float start on Sat. morning? It would be sometime in the evening Friday before I could get there. About what time do you think we'll be off the river? Will we camp along the river Sat. night?

    February 13, 2014

    • Jan

Just saw the note about leaving Sat @ 1PM. Sorry

I reserved a canoe for June 21, Saturday.

  • Gary F.

I have reserved a kayak for June 21. I do not yet know if I will be able to spend the night June 20/21 or June 21/22. How long do I have to make reservations? I usually use my 2 man backpacking tent when I camp. I checked out the B&B at Rocheport and that looks like an interesting place to stay.

You can stay as many days as you can. We may stay for 4-5 days.

Hi Eddie... since this comment section is for this particular event, you might do better posting your comments on the messageboard. This comment section goes to ONLY the folks that are attending this particular event. ALSO, since this group only goes where there is electricity available you might want to join a group that does primitive camping only for the event you are thinking about.

Too early? Interesting. I'm used to reserving at places that book up 6 months in advance.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
