This project is run by Conservation Volunteers New Zealand.
This is one of our regular sites and great work is taking place. Walk through stands of fern trees and listen to the sounds of the birds and the trickling stream in this peaceful gully. Our mission will be to control invasive blackberry which competes for space with natives Planting season is nearly upon us - help us make space for them!
Please wear sturdy shoes or gumboots, long pants, long-sleeved shirt (blackberry can get quite scratchy!), weather appropriate gear eg. hat/rain jacket.
Please bring something to drink and eat.
Tools and gloves will be provided.
If you would like a lift please call[masked] 185.
