This is a group for members of the Wellington Meetup community that want to get together and take action on the social and environmental issues that matter to us, whether they be local, national or international. Most Meetups focus on helping out existing community groups with activities such as tree planting, beach cleaning, track cutting and helping out groups working with vulnerable communities, but all ideas are welcomed.

The theme of the group is sociable volunteering. As well as volunteering, events usually also include having some food, drink and plenty of time for mingling with each other and members of the groups that we are meeting up with. Sign up and let's get stuck in!
