Bring lunch, folding chairs, comfortable shoes and musical instruments.
There are 10 trails at this 473 acre center! (maps available at the nature centers kiosk)
Previous volunteers are welcome to contact me if they are able to drive some of our blind friends.

Northwest Park and Nature Center is a sizable 473 Acre center complete with butterfly garden (has attracted at least 60 species of butterflies!), 10 naturally shaded trails makes a wonderful mid afternoon hike! A bog trail with Braille signage for the visually impaired. Barns and corrals with cows, sheep, goats and chickens are adjacent to the Nature Center, which includes indoor nature exhibits. Picnic tables are available, and visitors are also free to picnic anywhere along the trails.
Meet at 10:30 AM at in the Parking lot , or later at the pond pavilion. Directions: From I-91 take Exit 38, Rt. 75. Go NW 1.5 mi. Turn left at Grange Hall onto Prospect Hill Rd. Continue 1 mi. then turn right onto Lang Rd. Park on left in lot at end of Rd.
