First Book Club Meeting

We will be holding the first Compassionate Living book club meeting February 1st at Van Cleve Community Center from 5:30-6:30pm. A brief overview and introduction of the selected book, Farm Sanctuary by Gene Bauer, will be discussed as well as a demonstration on how to obtain the book through inter-library loan and other sources. You do not need to have read the book prior to this meeting. Refreshments will also be provided! The Compassionate Living book club is a great way to get involved with animal issues, develop an intellectual understanding of these issues, and build community with like-minded people. The Compassionate Living book club is open to everyone, from animal rights activists to people who just love to read! You do not need to be a member of Compassionate Action for Animals to join.
