Lantern Light at the Heritage Farmstead Museum III

The volunteer check-in is in the main office for Saturday and that's where the photographer badges will be. Victoria James is coordinating the volunteers for Saturday.

Thank you so much for being able to photograph on Saturday. It looks like we'll have a great crowd.

Join us for a special reunion inspired by the return of little Hunter to the home of his grandmother Mary Alice Farrell in December 1914.

Mr. and Mrs. Claus will host 1914: A Holiday Homecoming featuring turn of the century games and crafts, model train sets, live music performed by local children's choirs, stories told by the North 40 Storytellers Guild, mule driven wagon rides, and so much more!

Experience the Farmstead as the sun goes down when over 100 kerosene lanterns will be lit. Whether it has been days or years, come home to the Farmstead for this unique holiday celebration.

Larry helped me to find the office and get set up. Sadly, by 7pm the crowd was very small. The ticket collectors left around 7:30 as did I. Other than Larry, I didn't run into anyone else from the club at the shoot. I will post a few photos over the next few days.

It was cold at 3:00 PM and the temperature was starting to fall when I left at 5:00 PM. I suspect the 5:0 PM to 7:00 PM shift had the most photogenic opportunities. I will post drop box instructions later this afternoon.
