Tabletop Photography: a Workshop

The assignment for this month is table top photography - something we can do around the house.

At this meeting we will have at leastfour tables set up with various props, lights, and reflectors. This will be available light with no flash. Bring your camera, tripods, remote shutter releases . . . this is hands on!

In this workshop we will work on color temperature (there are some funky lights in the room), aperature, exposure, and how to set up interesting photo props at home.

We will also introduce the next topic.

Results from prior meetings may be found at "The Complete Photographer Results".

I thought that the meetup was most interesting and informative. I only wish I had been able to see and photograph some of the other participant's demos but my demo was a bit demanding on my part as I was tied up trying to get the best results photographing the falling water drops. I would rate the meet up a four star but Rm K-212 ........??. I plan to attend future meetups so I can learn from and share with this great group of photographers.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
