Tree Patterns

This month's subject is "Patterns in Nature: Trees".  Without leaves our deciduous trees and bushes reveal intricate details.  We have many opportunities for creativity.  We can look up at the trees from the ground, we can see patterns duplicated in reflections from water of buildings, we can capture images at different times of the day to see the effects of light at sunrise, sunset, and mid day.  We can add shadows in our composition.  With smaller hedges and bushes we can explore the effects of aperture to vary the depth of field for creative effects.

This is our first meeting at the Heritage Farmstead.  From 6:30 to 7:00 we will be setting up chairs and tables.  Additional hands will be greatly appreciated.

Results from prior meetings may be found at "The Complete Photographer Results".

We will view the images submitted and then find out from the photographer, what he or she saw that compelled them to shoot the shot. We will critique the use of focus, composition, technique and explore some adjustments in post processing. It is some lecture and a lot of brain storming. Please join us.

Will the meet up be a structured lecture type setting? Or more like a brainstorming meeting? I'm a newcomer to photography and would like to attend
I posted this earlier without realizing that I was replying to a different thread.. Oops on me!
