It is a great effort to address a extremely serious issue - that fundamentally if address properly will make the difference in providing all Citizens of the City of Chicago the tools to participate fully in all aspects of Society. It is the difference between engaged in and becoming self actualized or being part of a developing permanent underclass and being a non-participant in society. To me it is this serious. The lack of access to information or knowledge of the importance of having access to information is decisive and essential in educating and retooling adults as well as our youth. Regardless of the development in the educational delivery system and its improvement - If the city of Chicago does not provide access or a structure for all citizens to have access to information; methods, processes and theories of education and educational reform is useless to the growth of an individual learning experience. Connect Chicago addresses this issue to close this Gap.
