3D Printing session

Visitors and newcomers are very welcome.

Short walk from Glenferrie train station. Car parking at Hawthorn town hall.

The main goal is to learn about and experiment with 3D printing. If you have a 3D printer, then you can bring it along and get help from many of our experienced members (or just show it off). If you've not got a 3D printer, you're still welcome to attend.

We don't just cover 3D printing, but anything related to 3D design and manufacture. There are members with experience in scanning objects into 3D models as well as designing 3D objects in various CAD/SCAD/CAM applications. There is a Lathe on premesis, a Laser Cutter (not working at the moment), other (general) tools, plus the space itself has two 3D printers that can be used by members (to be shared).

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
