Meditation and Dialogue

Join us for this simple & direct approach to awareness-based meditation in a friendly no-pressure dialogue circle.

Meditation: GENTLE, open listening format to get familiar with sitting or lying posture meditation and explore the sensations in the body and sounds in the environment, simply meeting what is here in presence.

Dialogue: A SAFE container for beginners to ask questions or experienced meditators to delve deeper, investigate and discover the ALIVEness in silence. Silent Meditation is where awareness naturally blossoms and is stabilized & integrated into all areas of life.

Creativity and rejuvenation are enhanced, outer isolation and inner conflicts can begin to resolve and meaningful contact and dialogue is established.

This One hour Program includes a 25/30 min meditation period, followed by a short dialogue group. Everything is optional.

Some of our influences are: Krishnamurti, Zen, Taoism, Toni Packer, Insight Meditation, Ramana Maharshi, Open Dharma, Christopher Titmus, Eckhart Tolle.

Chairs & Zafu Cushions (floor pillows) are provided, feel free to bring whatever pillows, shawls etc you might feel comfortable with.

Free for Gym members, $5 for everyone else (No one turned away for lack of funds)
