I found my home with the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers)
I did and after many years searching for my spiritual home, I discovered my home at Meeting.
I have always sought to settle the forces within me that are at conflict with each other. Seeking my inner peace has helped quiet those conflicts.
Yes, being able to worship quietly in expectant waiting for messages from my inner light is louder than any spoken word.
I have not felt part of any spiritual community until I came to Meeting and found that I was welcomed warmly by all.
Being a Quaker is an essential part of who I am now. Without it I would feel lost, like I did many years ago. It has been my saving grace.
A wonderful collection of Friends who are open and welcoming.
