I'm convinced that leafleting college campuses is one of the most effective ways for me to spend my time and energy as an advocate. Why? Campuses usually have high foot traffic between class periods, so you can reach hundreds of people in a relatively short amount of time.
No experience necessary! Literature will be provided. (Please bring a backpack or messenger bag, water, and lunch or snacks!)
Most folks aren't available on weekdays for campus leafleting, I realize. But if you're free, consider trying it. It's a great feeling, knowing you've just brought life-changing, life-saving information to hundreds of people.
And college students are a key population to target. Why? Because college students are at a stage of their lives when they're open to new information, and they're often making their own food shopping decisions for the first time.
Also, being young means that students have more years of life left. That means more years of eating left, which means more animals to be saved by going vegan.
