Couch to 5K spring season starts!!!

We have 2 groups:

Walking Group will exercise and encourage one another towards walking a 5K.

Jogging Group has a goal of jogging a 5K.

The program gradually moves you from walking at your own pace to jogging at your own pace.

FREE 10-week program to get you from the couch to running a 5K (3.1 miles).

• Anyone from the community can participate.

• Led by experienced runners.

• Mondays through Thursdays 6pm-6:45pm

• 45 minute time commitment (3 days a week. You pick the 3 days.)

• Nutrition nights for learning how to snack and replenish your body after a run

• Goal of jogging and finishing a 5K in June

Encourage those you love to get “off the couch” and join you in the great sport of running. Come have some fun! Bring a water bottle and join the group.

(Please consult your doctor if you have a health or medical condition that prevents you from exercising.)

I am a little nervous about making it on time. I leave work in natick at 5:30. Is anyone familiar with traffic to marlborough around that time?

Google maps has 26 minutes from "Natick" to "72 Jefferson Street, Marlborough".

Route 9 is pretty busy. Try taking Central Street and Route 30. I leave from Framingham and usually take central street and route 30-far less traffic!
