Do you have a family member or friend who wants to get in shape but doesn't know how to start? Help get them walking or jogging.
We have 2 groups:
Our Walking Group will exercise and encourage one another towards walking a 5K.
Our Jogging Group has a goal of jogging a 5K.
Using CoolRunning.com’s Couch To 5K program we introduce people to jogging and getting fit. The program gradually moves you from walking at your own pace to jogging at your own pace.
FREE 10-week program to get you from the couch to running a 5K (3.1 miles).
Anyone from the community can participate.
Led by experienced runners.
Mondays through Thursdays 6pm-6:45pm; Sundays 8am-8:40am
45 minute time commitment (3 days a week)
Nutrition nights for learning how to snack and replenish your body after a run
Goal of jogging and finishing a 5K
NOTE: We will start our SPRING SEASON around the last week of March 2015. We're taking the winter season off because of snow.

Encourage those you love to get “off the couch” and join you in the great sport of running. Come have some fun! Bring a water bottle and join the group at the Assabet River Rail Trail in Marlborough. (Please park in the municipal parking lot next to 72 Jefferson Street, Marlborough.)
In the Spring 2013 we had over 110 people participate and 42 people jog the Finnegan's Fantastic 5K on June 1, 2013. People from all levels of walking and jogging are welcome to join us.
