Lunch, speaker, networking, learning, and FUN with Rose Alisandre!

Join our Wednesday, March 5th, noon-1:00PM program: Awakening the Heart with Rose Alisandre

We are and have been in a time of global transformation. Perhaps what will guide us through this maize are simple, basic qualities and practices, that return us to what is basic to life.  Appreciation of life and our relationship to all of life. Ancient and time honored spiritual practices of attending to the awareness of our breath, of the beat of our heart, can also connect us to our mother earth and to the source of all of life.  As we offer our attention, our presence, we allow the earth itself to also remember it's divinity, it's magic.  Rose will lead a brief guided imagery/meditation and share more about the Dance Awake Process during her program.

Rose Alisandre, MTI is a Body worker and Cranio Sacral Therapist. She holds a Massage Therapy Instructor’s License in Arkansas and has maintained a private practice in Arkansas for over 30 years. I found Russell to be very interesting, and noticed a lot of synchronicity between what he said and the Media I listen to and read. I'm currently trying to reach some immediate goals in my life due to my current predicament, and it’s always nice to hear from another source that affirms that I'm on the right track. I could have listened for hours.
I also found it interesting to see our event organizer Russ mention his Zen Tarot Cards. About 3 weeks ago I started to learn about Traditional Tarot cards for assistance from my inner guide. Every morning I draw a card, and I continue to be amazed at how “Spot On” the card meaning is, in alignment to my Daily life, and it gives me comfort.

It's fun how an innocuous little card can have such clarity for my life. Thanks Scott.

I enjoyed the fact that Russell's topic was something brand new for me. I must admit that I didn't understand everything he was explaining, but it didn't prevent me from taking advantage of a new healing when it came my way!
I had a session with him in the late afternoon and I'm pleased with the results.
It may be hard to listen to those who don't resonate with us, but I believe they cross our path for some reason & everyone is a teacher.
A good question to ask may be "What was one thing I learned from the topic presented?" Perhaps you learned something about yourself, your road, or you discovered it wasn't your path. (?)
Thanks Russ, I recognize your efforts to find a speaker in Rose's absence. :)

I found Russell interesting. I was somewhat surprised that much of his healing seemed to be more on a medical model than I expected. I am a newbe and ready to learn. Thank you for making me feel welcome.

So glad you came Anne. Hopefully you'll come to hear other ideas and approaches at the future meetings.

I was sorry Rose couldn't come because of her mother's transition but I enjoyed hearing Russell speak in her stead. There were a few things that put me off but for the most part he echoed things I've thought before and they felt right for me. I know it won't grok with everyone's taste but I have to admit it was exactly what I needed.

I appreciate your comments Vandra. Hopefully this is part of the experience of CAN - ideas and topics that give us pause. Whether we agree or disagree, like or dislike, any topic that gets us to stop and look at our own thoughts about any idea has the potential to be expansive. The more we look the more we discover. If we allow it, ever encounter could be 'exactly what I needed'.

    Russell was not my style.

Thank you for your thoughts Ramoda. I welcome feedback about our speakers and our program. I love the way you said this: 'not my style'. Isn't this what makes life spicy? We're not all drawn to the same people, places, or ideas, nor do we have to be. Thanks Ramoda.

Stefanie, there's not a cost, just whatever you want to eat and a tip for wait staff. See you there! :)

Is there a fee for the event on March 5th?
