Deferring your happiness to the future it’s not a good idea...

Many people, (including myself for quite a while), live by a philosophy that goes like ‘one day, when I finally have that one thing I have been working towards for years, then everything will be alright and I'll finally be happy.

Actually what happens when you pursue a single goal/desire with a sense of deficiency, is that when you finally get to ‘destination’, you immediately discover that there is something else missing even there...that there is one last thing that you need to become/have in order to be happy! So you start your journey seeking this one more thing again, and again, and again...

Let me say that long-term happiness from one particular situation /accomplishment is a superstition, that we can learn to be happy with who we are and what we have, live in the now, all while enjoying the progress and CHANGES we are making:-)!

The trick then is to stop the race for a moment and realize that who you are and what you have it’s enough, and out of that sense of “enoughness” the next desire arise but this time not with that sense of deficiency/neediness but with a sense of expansion, because now happiness is already here and you carry it with you all along towards you next destination:-).

Ultimately you will find yourself moving less and going faster towards your desire...because happiness make you fly:-).

Steve Comer, Dr. Tammy and I are so looking forward to meeting you all and spend a great evening together to learn also how to have happiness as a constant companion in the journey of life.
