Consciousness Hacking

  • This location is shown only to members

Consciousness Hacking is a hands-on approach to making new tools for self-exploration, in order to change the way we think, feel, and live.  Its an inside out perspective on how technology can serve us by changing our relationship to the world, rather than the world itself.  (note: This is NOT about unauthorized or forced influence over anyone or anything.)

The meeting will consist of two sections, each with three 20 minute shares.  If you'd like to share/present something (categories are below) then post it to the message board, or message me if you prefer.

1) Show and Tell (20 min each): Bring something to present, with or without slides. It should be a concrete example of Consciousness Hacking. It might be a tool or technology that you developed, or it might be a cool commercial or otherwise already existing tool that you think is worth sharing.

2) Idea Oven (20 min each): Bring an idea, that might be half-baked, and receive support from the community to take it to reality. This will be a supportive and safe space to explore a project idea where you can receive creative, practical or technical guidance. This should be a concrete idea that you genuinely plan to pursue. It will be helpful if you can work beforehand to articulate the idea as clearly as possible. You should begin your session with a 4 sentence or less description of what the project is.

I had been waitlisted and made other plans so couldn't attend (got the notice at the last second that I was off the waitlist.) Sorry I missed it and hope to make it next time.

Wonderful evening. Thank you all for sharing your thoughts and thank you Jai for introducing us to Xperience the game.

Great group and facilitation by Mikey. Was an honor to share Xperience—the Game (XtheGAME.com) and our plans for our Santa Cruz Xperience Timecapsule (deck). I want to remind those with an iPhone to download "eXorb" to play mobile. And if you want to truly hack into Consciousness, come up to our Be and Be Well, up in Ben Lomond, for a flotation eXperience.

Very enjoyable. Wonderful group of highly intelligent, kind, spiritually focused people. Mikey runs the Meet Up in a well organized but flexible style.

So much fun! Bright people vulnerable to each other, sharing inspiration, sharing brilliance, letting connections happen. A room full of kindness
