This month we'll hear from Deborah Rozman, CEO of HeartMath Inc, who will discuss their world renown landmark technology, multi-person heart coherence, and the latest industry trends.  Liz Li, Ph.D., president of Sofia University (formally Institute of Transpersonal Psychology) will discuss her plans to develop the first consciousness focused engineering curriculum, and the opening of a new lab devoted to Consciousness Hacking.  Frank Heile, PhD, will report on two months of rigorous testing of the Interaxon Muse EEG headset.

HeartMath has also been generous enough to sponsor this month's meetup, including the donation of several devices, and a discount on devices sold at the meeting.

Deborah Rozman, CEO of HeartMath Inc. will talk about the power of Heart Rate Variability coherence feedback to create a shift baseline health and consciousness. She will share what HeartMath’s emWave and Inner Balance technology does and outcomes achieved, and provide industry insight in what’s happening in the rapidly changing mobile health market. Lastly she will talk about HeartMath’s vision and roadmap for group coherence and global coherence to facilitate a shift in global consciousness.

A proven leader and educator, Dr. Liz Li brings 25 years of industry and academic expertise to her role as president of Sofia University.  Most recently she served as Dean of Faculty, Chief Academic Officer, and head of ITU’s Academic Quality Control Committee at the International Technology University (ITU) in Palo Alto.

She directed her department until 2008 where she began her position as Executive VP of Marketing at McNair Technologies Corporation. During this time, Dr. Li joined ITU as a professor for the Computer Science department and soon became an integral part of the executive decision-making process at ITU.

Dr. Frank Heile has a PhD in Particle Physics from Stanford and an undergraduate degree from MIT.  He is a retired software engineer with over 46 patents to his name.  He is currently writing a book exploring a novel theory of consciousness as it relates to spiritual awakening, enlightenment and transformation.  He will be discussing his last two months of experimenting with the Interaxon Muse EEG headset including data on how it has influence him, as well has his software development work with the device.

Hi all, I would have absolutely loved to come out today, but I went to a mixer at the W last night and don't feel too well today. Would love to see a video, however, and come to the next meetup. Cheers!
