Location to be determined by poll. I will also put a poll put for the books too. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

It was a decent discussion, but very difficult to moderate because half of the people didn't read the book at all. I would suggest that next time people try to read the book so that the conversation could flow better. I am open to organizing a happy hour or going out for drinks afterwards as we did this time to just chat about politics in general. I would just rather have the first couple hours be more focused on the book that was chosen and people took the time to read.

Good, but hard to get a word in edgewise sometimes.
Have we decided on a book? We have just over 2 weeks until we meet.

I will definitely put Ameritopia by Mark Levin in the mix next time. I would love to discuss that one!

Northern Virginia and the surrounding area is very liberal. As a result, it often is difficult for conservatives and libertarians to meet and discuss timely topics or current books. This meetup group is unique by giving conservatives and libertarians an informal forum to exchange ideas, debate issues, and develop a network of like-minded individuals. The group meets once a month, at least, and we will focus on timely issues. If you are interested in thoughtful discussions and meeting fellow conservatives and libertarians, please join our group.
