Maximize Your Business Networking Efforts With Contacts N Coffee
We sure manage to pack a lot into one little hour every Friday morning. That's because we keep things on track and focused—we've all got businesses to run, right? Although our professional networking group has a relaxed vibe, we have found that a little structure goes a long way to keep our program high-performing, effective and relevant.
Here's how a typical meeting unrolls:
Members and guests arrive, pay, chat and serve themselves coffee
News of business events in the community and from local Chambers of Commerce.
8:20–8:50am BUSINESS PROMOTIONS
Each attendee stands and presents a 30-second "elevator speech" to briefly promote his/her business.
9:00–9:10am SPEAKER PRESENTATION
Every week, a different member presents a 10-minute talk about the business they represent.
9:10–9:25am DOOR PRIZES
Fun drawings for giveaways donated by members. If you have promotional items or other gifts, please bring them—and get even more exposure.
9:30am MEETING OFFICIALLY ENDS
However, some of the best professional networking takes place during the half-hour AFTER the meeting, so feel free to hang out and schmooze for a while.
