Join in with us in this workshop on finding your way and orienteering in wild nature. We will learn how to use map and compass, natural direction indicators, and to decide what we should do in emergency situations. Whether you want to explore trackless wilderness, feel comfortable wandering off the trail, or find a remote site, you will learn the skills you need in this workshop. Bring a working compass (with a needle, not a floating ball) and appropriate clothes for the weather. We will be sitting on the grass between walks in the woods, so bring a pad for that if you need one. This workshop is also posted on Nature Connection Meetup.
