Walk through Tualatin Hills Nature Park

Tualatin Hills Nature Park is a diverse wooded natural area in Beaverton. It's flat with miles of trails and two creeks. Birds are everywhere and deer, rabbits and other small animals can often be spotted.

Absolutely perfect as my intro to meetup in general, and specifically the Contemplatives!

I never found any of you (arrived an hour late but it's not that big of a place, right?). I had a wonderful walk without you and saw a doe and fawn, in the woods right near the bridge on the Vine Maple Trail. As I was posting it to Facebook on my return route, the same pair crossed the trail right in front of me to go further into the forest. I was awestruck!!! It all happened too fast to take a photo so you'll have to take my word for it.

Oh yeah? Well we saw three slugs...so there...and one of them was eating a banana which is why it's called a banana slug.

Very enjoyable. Nice and flat, just the right length, friendly people. Thanks, Linda, for leading.

You were close, the park borders the Trimet garage but the park entrance is on the east side of the park - there are signs on TV Highway that show you where to turn.

My apologies for a late change to a NO. I spent the past 5 days in the OVEN that was the Midwest. I need a couple of days to recover. Marsha

One of my favorite places to hike! Great for relaxed casual walks.
I wish some of the hikes could be on Saturday mornings.

We can schedule them for Saturdays in the future, but for the next few weeks it looks like Saturdays have other events for this group.

Nothing wrong with booking two different hikes on the same day :-)

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
