Join the eZ Publish Community in North America on July 16 for the first-ever “Jump-Start” event – an introduction to all things eZ Publish. The on-line and in-person (Elk Grove, CA) conference offers the opportunity to learn more about the open source eZ Publish Content Management platform.

Morning sessions are tailored toward marketers, communication directors and content executives. As the day progresses the topics will become more technical. Hosting the eZ Publish Jump-Start is Nicolas Pastorino, vice president of Community for eZ Systems.

The Jump-Start runs from 10am to 5pm Pacific with sessions that include:

  • “eZ Publish for Experienced CMS Developers” – see how eZ Publish stands up against your current CMS;
  • “CMS Market Overview;”
  • “Tools for Content Professionals” – the evolution of user experience and demystifying UXM;
  • “An Introduction to the North American eZ Publish Community;”
  • “Using 'the Cloud' for Content Management” and
  • “What to Expect in CMS” -- the upcoming 5.0 release and a brief demonstration.

    Attendees can participate in the entire day-long conference or in as many individual sessions as you like. There's no fee for the event, but both in-person and online registrations are limited.

    To attend the in-person sessions, email jumpstart @ granitehorizon.com. To register to attend online go to: http://bit.ly/MTztdO.... More information? info @ granitehorizon.com
